Bio Notes Tab
Notes can be added to biographical records in several places:
- On the Household or Organization Profile Overview tab. Notes added here generally refer to the entire household or organization.
- On the Person or Couple add or edit page. Add notes here about specific names.
- On the Notes tab of the Bio screen. This is a better place to put multiple notes about either the household or organization as a whole or about individual names. These notes can be dated, searched and sorted so it is easy to find notes on specific topics. You can also see who added and modified any of the notes.
The Notes tab of the Bio screen displays a list of all of the notes added through this tab. They are displayed in a grid so you can rearrange the fields, change the sort order, and filter by date or user.
You can also view notes through the Notes Manager, located on the People and Org navigator. The Notes Manager displays all notes from all biographical records in a single grid where you can search for keys words, sort by date and user, and view related notes together.
The Notes tab includes the following buttons:
- Add - to add a new note.
- Edit - to make changes to the selected note.
- Delete - to delete this note.
- WARNING: a deleted note cannot be recovered.
