Family Room iPad App Check In/Out

When a family arrives at the Family Room, they can use the App to check in. Each visitor is associated with a particular patient. So the visitor will look up the name of the patient when they arrive.

  1. Click on the Check In button from the Family Room Check In screen.
  2. Enter one of the following to find the patient: patient email, first name, last name, or the last 4 digits of the phone number. Click on the search icon.
    1. Last names that match are displayed, with first initials rather than full names.
  3. If someone has visited this patient in the past, his name should appear. The visitor can select the name and click on Next to check in.
  4. Enter one of the following to find the visitor: visitor email, first name, last name, or the last 4 digits of the phone number. Click on the search icon.
    1. If the visitor has been before, his name should appear.
  5. Select the visitor name and click on Check In.
  6. Select the Services to be used and click on Check In to complete the check in.
    1. If this is a new visitor, he can click on Add New Visitor at step 5.
  7. Fill in the information about the new visitor and follow the steps to check in.
    1. If this is a new patient, the visitor can add a new patient and then follow steps 4-7 to check in.

To check out, follow these steps:

  1. Select Check Out from the Family Room Check In screen.
    1. A list of patients who have visitors in the room is displayed.
  2. Select the name of the patient and click on Check OUT.
  3. Click on Finish.
