Volunteer Job Manager Tab

The Job Manager sub tab of the Volunteer Manager shows a list of all jobs that have been defined. Jobs are defined independently of the schedule, and each job definition can be used repeatedly in the schedule over time.

You can use the buttons at the top to view all jobs, only active jobs, or only closed jobs. In addition, you can configure the list to show the columns you need, the sort order and any filtering of the list.

The Job Manager tab has the following buttons:

  1. Add - to add a new job description. This opens the Job Scheduler window at Step 1, Add Job.
  2. Edit - to make changes to an existing job description. This opens the Job Scheduler window at Step 2, Edit Job.
  3. Delete - to delete a job description. Click on this to delete a job. Jobs that have been scheduled cannot be deleted. Set the status to "Closed" instead.
  4. Set Up Schedule - to link tasks to a job, set up a schedule, and assign volunteers. This opens the Job Scheduler window at Step 4.
  5. Close or Make Active - to change the status of an active job to a closed job and vice versa.
