How to Run a Report

There are many reports available in ExceedFurther, grouped into categories. When you run a report, you make the following choices:

  1. Select the category of reports that contains your report from the Navigator, Reports, All Reports. This opens a tab containing a list of all reports in the category you selected.
  2. Select the report from the category.
    1. For a complete list of reports in each category, see the Report Categories topic.
  3. Select from the list of options for that report. Every report has different options, including what to include on the report and what order to sort the results. These options are listed in the Help section for each report. Use the Report Categories topic to find the details for each report.
  4. Add an extra title to your report if you wish.
  5. Use the additional Filters, if desired, to narrow down the data on the report.
  6. Select the output for your report:
    1. Print Preview - opens the report in a new window in your browser.
    2. PDF - creates a PDF that you can open or download and save on your computer.
    3. Excel - creates a spreadsheet version of the report that you can open in Excel or download and save on your computer.
  7. If you wish to save this report setup as a favorite or save this report setup with another user, click on Save As and follow these steps:
    1. Enter a name for your report
    2. Enter a description.
    3. Click on Private if you don't wish to share the report, or click on Public to share the report setup with other users in your organization.
    4. If you selected Public, select the users with whom you wish to share the report. For each user, select View (run and view the report only) or Edit (run and view the report and make changes to the setup).
    5. Click on Save.
    6. The report setup can be found under Favorites in the Report Navigator.
    7. When you run a favorite report, it uses the parameters for the favorite report, but reruns the report from the current data.
  8. Once you  have saved a report as a Favorite, you can create a schedule to automatically run and email this report on a regular basis.
  9. Click on Go to run the report.
