Online Administration Overview

With ExceedFurther you can create online pages for the following purposes:

  1. Accept online donations
  2. Accept online pledge payments on existing pledges
  3. Accept online event registrations and ticket purchases
  4. Sign up volunteers for specific jobs
  5. Sign up volunteers with a general interest in your volunteer opportunities
  6. Accept requests for guest accommodations

In each of these cases, you can access the parameters you have set up within ExceedFurther and display options for the online donor or volunteer. When someone visits your online pages, the information they enter appears immediately in the Online Transactions screen where you can review and match transactions against your existing donors.

Once you accept the transactions, gifts appear in the donor's giving history, the event registrations appear in the Event module, volunteer schedules are set up in the Volunteer module, and accommodation requests appear in the Guest module.. The parameters you set in your online form are appended to the transactions as they move into a donor's record.

For example, you may set up an online giving form and specify the gift Reason code that should be added to all gifts that come from this form. You can offer the donor a list of Funds where she can direct her gift. And you can add tags to each donor, along with other information, such as mailing preferences.

Before creating an online form, make sure all of the details you want on the form are specified in ExceedFurther so they will be available to add to your form. For example, before you create an online event registration form, you need to create a new event in ExceedFurther. The details of the event, such as ticketing options, food preference fields, and sponsorships, should be defined in the Event module. You can then add all of this information to your event registration form.
